This mommy tries a blog roadmap to 2019!

This last year has been crazy! Since I have not been around the blog scene for the whole year I won’t go into a lot of detail and do a blog year end review. Instead I will share with you a sneak peak into next year, and my plans for this blog.

I am a big believer in there are many different ways to parent, and each parent knows what is best for their family. That being said in 2019 I hope to be more of an advocate for being less judgmental of the choices of others and more of a cheerleader for all the parents who are just trying their best!

Crafting for me is a way to release stress. I admit I do a lot of it around my house, and I don’t share enough of it. So expect a lot of crafts for home décor, holidays, keeping kids busy, etc. You can count on sewing crafts, paper crafts, papier-mâché crafts, Cricut crafts, really anything, you just never know!

I love to bullet journal! Although it has gone off the path of a traditional bullet journal and has become more of a smash of a variety of different journals I love it and will share all of the details with you at least once a month! Here are some of my favorite pages from last year.

This year is my year! I am going to loose all this extra weight. I will be doing it under the weight watchers plan. Than I will be checking in on this blog. I learned along time ago that weight loss is super personal. I am doing it for me to be healthy and enjoy this life my family and I have created.

I feel that cooking and weight loss go hand in hand. Eating healthy is a huge component to weight loss! Cooking food your family likes while being healthy is a tough battle. I am ready to tackle it head on. You can plan on some menu planning, eating healthy on a budget, instant pot recipes and more!

This year I have a lot of traveling in my plans and I will be sharing them with all of you! You can look forward to:

My mom and I are road tripping, and I will share every exciting detail, including a review of different crafts and business we encounter along the way!

Later next year we will be off to the Sunshine state and Mickey Mouse! With family trips like this I will share my budget friendly ways of saving money, so the happiest place on earth can stay the happiest place on Earth.

We take a yearly trip here, this is where we relax on the beach and don’t think about our troubles. We disconnect from technology and enjoy being a family.

We have a few more trips lined up that I cannot wait to share with you !

This is the end of the items I will be talking about the most here are some topics you will here me talk about from time to time.

I will share more tips on how to make money on the side! This includes Etsy, and other selling websites!

In my family, I am known for getting great deals year round. I would love to share with you how I find amazing items for a budget.

I hate cleaning, yet it still has to get done. So I will be sharing hacks I learn along the way.

I have a hard time keeping track of posting. However I know it is something I have to become better at. So I will be posting more to instagram, and Facebook. I will also restart my YouTube channel. I just have to figure out a schedule so this actually happens.

I am looking forward to this upcoming year, learning new skills and sharing my view of the world. I hope that you come along with me. What are your plans for 2019? Is there anything you would like to see on this blog?

  1. This is a great road map! I have very similar goals this year. Definitely going to get back into shape, but my main goal is to become more organized. I feel like that is what makes me most overwhelmed, so I think me being more organized/de-clutter I will want to do more things because I won’t just shut down. Cheers to 2019!

  2. Wow! And I’m just over here trying to survive and keep my child alive 😂 I absolutely love how you mapped everything out. So organized and inspirational. We too are planning to go to Disney Land this year, at the end of the year. Here’s to making it another 365 days around the sun!

  3. I love this – what a great idea for making some good goals for 2019. I feel inspired to set out a roadmap of my own now 🙂

  4. I love roadmaps! I am super duper Organized to the point that I stress out. I think I need to learn to relax and go with the flow a bit

  5. I’m a bit unfamiliar with bullet journaling, and so I think I would be looking forward to your posts on it. In terms of parenting, I think I really need to improve on my communication with my daughter. I fully acknowledge that there’s problem in this area, but it’s just to hard for me.

    1. Thank you for your input. Communication can be tricky, but is so necessary. The fact that you acknowledge the problem means your already doing something great. Baby steps now will lead to a better relationship in the future. Try to find something she has an interest in and ask her to teach you about it, be patient and appreciative. I know this helps me when I’m having a hard time connecting with my daughter. Other than that don’t be to hard on yourself you are doing great!

  6. I love this! It is a fun sneak peek into 2019~ I plan on focusing on weight loss as well and plan on sharing some of that journey on my blog as well! Here is hoping 2019 is the best year ever!

  7. Your blogmap is very comprehensive.. I can’t wait for you to produce all of this awesome content.. and thanks for the blog roadmap idea btw.. I’m sure it will help many of us stay on track and blog better

  8. Wow, all those holidays look amazing! I always say I’m going to lose weight but never do so this one always on my list! If you achieve all these things then I’d say you are in for a good year!

  9. I love this! I always say you have to speak things in to existence to make them feel more real and to feel like you have more control! Maybe I should do something like this for myself too! It may bring me some sense of balance!

  10. This is an amazing roadmap. I really need to try this strategy- I’m kind of all over the place right now. Bullet journaling and weight loss are at the top of my list right now too! I’m a bit overwhelmed about how to start a bullet journal though!

  11. I love this! It’s similar to a post that I did for my “New Year’s Resolutions” for 2019. Rather than setting a typical resolution, I set intentions for myself. I feel like it will be a much better (and more flexible) way to navigate through the upcoming year where, I myself, will be becoming a first time parent (so I especially loved your very first section on “Parenting”). Wishing you the best in 2019!

  12. Wow, you have a busy year planned! I’ll have to keep checking in because you have some topics on this list that I definitely want to read 🙂

  13. I absolutely love that you have shared a road map to what you are wanting to share this year. I wish you all the luck with everything this upcoming year.
